Grain Update:

The Grain department continued to struggle this year. Bu’s down over 400,000 bu’s compared to 2022 year. Wheat market – basis was a challenge all year long. Fuel cost and Truck repairs continued to rise along with insurance costs. At the end of the Fiscal year we again showed Red numbers at the bottom line. In an effort to improve the profitability of the Grain department we have sold off our Truck Fleet of Grain Semi’s and Trailers and went back to hiring local truckers. This was not an easy decision, but change is a necessary thing at times. We hope you will continue to work with us thru these changes as we go forward in this 23 – 24 year.

Over all St. Clair Service Company continues to be a Strong Company. We could not do this without the support and patronage of our CUSTOMERS! So, in ending I want to say a BIG THANK YOU TO ALL OUR CUSTOMERS AND EMPLOYEES!
